TO DO LIST

Processes I want to try:

There are a number of processes that I would like to try this year, The university has such a wide range of facilities and I don't think that I used as many as I should have in 1st year. So this year I want to take full advantage of as many facilities and try as many proccesses as I can.

-Embossing
-Foiling
-Vinyl
-Screen printing on to fabric


Things to improve upon:

-Adobe Software. I really want to improve my skills using the adobe software. I think I have a good understanding of photoshop and my skills using indesign have improved over the year, however I think I have a long way to go to improve my skills on Illustrator.
-Time keeping. Making sure I am always on top of my work and punctual. Last year towards the end of the year i started making lists and schedules to help me keep  on top of my work, i need to practice this and continue this in the upcoming year.
-Blogging. Keeping update with blogging and blogging my work as i go makes life so much easier, and helps make life more stressful, so this year i deffinetly have to improve my blogging.
-Book binding. I really enjoyed book binding last year, i only did it a couple of times but it is something i really want to continue in the future.


What interests me as a graphic designer:

-Print. I like the authentic and bespoke feel of print based graphic design. I also like the hands on approach to creating it and having something physical at the end of the process. 
-Modernism. I am really interested in clear functional and practical design with a clear message and clear outcome. I also like the minimalist, clean and uncluttered design aesthetic.
-Type. Type design really interests me, I really want to develop my skills and make unique exciting type designs.
